Hello my friend,

Welcome to another edition of Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.

In the past few days, I’ve been trying a new format of writing that’s more personal and conversational. I’ve also been experimenting with fiction writing and short stories. It has been a lot of fun. But, let’s see if I would continue with it or not.

Last week I published a short story titled ‘A Little Bookshop’. If you’ve read it, let me know what you think of it. If you haven’t, you can check it out here.

On similar lines, this week’s newsletter features a short story. I’m sharing it first with people on my mailing list before sharing it with everyone else. Let me know what you think of it? Would you like to receive more such stories in Simpler Sundays? Or should I stick to non-fiction writing?

Anyhow, let’s just get to this week’s featured post. I hope you enjoy this one. Happy reading!

See you next Sunday!

With love,

Shikhil Vyas

It was really awesome, reading it we get back to the real and happy part of our pasts. It would be worth writing about the real incidents of life like this one. But it's your choice to also write fiction stories. Why not to try?.... Just 1 thing to notice.... Sometimes, there are some words and phrases that really don't match with the emotions of that line.... try some easier and mostly remembered phrases.
