The Diderot Effect explains why we end up buying the things we don’t need
There's an interesting story behind its origin
Hello my friend,
Welcome to another edition of Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.
A short story I shared in this newsletter a few weeks back is doing well on LinkedIn. It got me many new readers. The post did well here on Substack as well. Makes me think if I should write more such short stories in future.
Also, I seem to have found my rhythm again with social media posts as well as this newsletter. So, that’s something to feel good about.
On the other hand, I am still looking for a new job and haven’t heard from a few places I applied to. I am trying to get a stable full-time job now so that I can stop worrying about finances and then solely focus on scaling the readership of VyasSpeaks.
That said, I am so excited to share this week’s featured post. Just like last week, this week’s featured post has turned out to be an interesting final product.
I enjoyed creating this one. I hope you enjoy reading it as well.
Happy reading!

Full disclosure: This affiliate link means if you click on the link below and subscribe to Morning Brew, I’ll get a tiny commission. This is a free subscription for you so it won’t cost you anything.
