Hello my friend,
Welcome to another edition of Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.
After a long break, this is the second newsletter in a row and I know this isn’t a big deal but after losing all motivation to write, sending this newsletter feels good.
As they say - baby steps.
Another thing I’m realizing is that as I keep writing more and more, the quality of my content is also improving bit by bit. The first post I wrote after the break felt rubbish, the next post a little better, and so on.
As I’ve said in some of my previous posts - Motivation follows action and not the other way around.
So, start doing first. Motivation will follow.
Also, I still have the podcasts with me that need to be edited and uploaded. I’ll probably take someone’s help now to get it done because if left to me it’ll keep getting postponed.
Moreover, I want to clarify one thing - the first part of this newsletter is often me just rambling about anything and everything. While the featured post is something I polish a lot, this first section is often the first draft of the thoughts that come into my mind. So, if you wish, you can simply skip these ramblings and proceed to the featured post (which is probably the reason why you subscribed to Simpler Sundays).
Okay, now moving to the featured post. I’m really excited about sharing this because I was inspired when I heard this anecdote from James Clear while listening to a podcast.
I tried retelling his story in my own way. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Happy reading!
If you enjoy the content I share, feel free to follow me on Instagram or LinkedIn.
See you next Sunday ❤️
With love,
Shikhil Vyas
