Hello my friend,

Welcome to another edition of Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.

How did the last week go for you? Were you also busy attending weddings?

The wedding season is here and in the last few days, the only thing I saw on social media was wedding/engagement photos.

I also attended a few weddings myself and had a great time eating local Himachali cuisine at those weddings. :D

Anyhow, over the last few days, I also started my design journey. For a long time, I’ve wanted to create illustrations for my posts on my own. So, taking the first steps on that journey, I got a pen tablet and started practicing and learning illustrations.

The initial phase is all about experimenting with different software and figuring out what kind of illustrations I want to create. So let’s see how that journey goes. Below are a few illustrations I tried creating recently (By the way, I have always sucked at drawing and painting and that’s why this design journey seems even more difficult).

Coming to this week’s featured post, today I am sharing a beautiful and heart-warming real-life story of a hero who saved the lives of hundreds of children. I first found this story while watching a reel on Instagram.

I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!

See you next Sunday ❤️

With love,

Shikhil Vyas
