Hello my friend,
Welcome to another edition of Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.
First of all congratulations to all of us for the success of the Chandrayaan-3 space mission. What was most remarkable for me was the fact that our Indian scientists achieved the feat of being the first ever to land on the dark side of the moon despite being under such financial constraints.
The cost of the entire lunar mission was lower than the budget of many of the Hollywood and even Bollywood movies. Hats off to every scientist at ISRO.
Indian scientists are truly a different breed altogether.
As for any personal updates, I am getting more consistent with my posting schedule on LinkedIn while learning to manage the workload of my new job. I’ve also started sharing my posts in the new format which I feel gives my posts more character as well as better emotional connect.
That said, for this week’s featured post, I am sharing a short story that I found on the web a few years back. Presenting my version of this story in today’s featured section.
I hope you enjoy this.
Happy reading!

Movie/Series recommendation of the week
For this week’s recommendation, I would like to suggest the movie ‘Memento’ that was released in 2001.
I feel this one is already quite popular and not much of a hidden gem but if you haven’t watched it, I strongly suggest giving this movie a try.
While a lot of praise came Christopher Nolan’s way after the release of ‘Oppenheimer’, I feel Memento is Nolan’s best work ever.
Some movie buffs might disagree, but for me, this is definitely the best Nolan movie.
The storytelling style, the concept, the mystery, and the philosophical element in the end, all make it one hell of a movie.
So give this movie a chance. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
Now, without further ado, let’s move to the featured post, the reason you subscribe to Simpler Sundays.
