Here's what I learned after being rejected for a job I wanted so badly
A short story on how life works in mysterious ways
Hello my friend,
Welcome to another edition of Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.
It’s 6 am in the morning as I am finishing this week’s newsletter. That’s because today I won’t get any time for writing.
Those of you who have been subscribed to this newsletter for a while know that a few weeks back I left my full-time job and became a freelancer. I also moved back to my hometown in Himachal.
Now I’ve returned to Delhi to get all my stuff and leave the place for good. I'll leave my rented apartment as well. So, today I’ll be occupied with packing and moving all my stuff. That’s why finishing this newsletter first thing in the morning.
Anyhow, if there’s anything I hate more than traveling then it’s packing and shifting. It’s always so stressful and chaotic. But what needs to be done needs to be done.
Okay, enough of the chatter. Now, let’s get to this week’s featured post - the reason why most of you subscribe to this newsletter. (By the way, thank you for being a reader of Simpler Sundays.)
For today’s featured post, I share my personal story of rejection. I hope you find it helpful and relatable.
If the response is good, I’ll try sharing more such personal stories in future editions of this newsletter.
I hope you enjoy reading this one.
Happy reading!
See you next Sunday!
With love,
Shikhil Vyas
