A real-life hero who sacrificed his Olympic career to save the lives of 20 unknown people
This is one of the most inspiring stories I've ever heard
Hello my friend,
Welcome to another edition of Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.
So, how are you spending the long weekend? Most of the people I know are on vacation. I, on the other hand, am enjoying these 3 days, looking to finish a pending book and complete some writing assignments.
By the way, I did go for Laal Singh Chaddha this weekend. My best friend advised me against it over and over again and yet I didn’t listen for the sole reason that I really wanted to see how the Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump (one of my favorite movies) would look. The movie was pretty average though and my friend is now laughing at me.
Anyhow, this newsletter also got a public shoutout from a friend and reader on LinkedIn. Check it out -
This definitely made my day. If you also enjoy reading this newsletter then I wouldn’t mind getting a public shoutout like this ;)
Enough of the chit-chat. Now, let’s get to this week’s featured post.
Today I share the story of a real-life hero who sacrificed his Olympic career while saving the lives of strangers. It is definitely one of the most inspiring stories I’ve heard in a while.
I hope you also enjoy this one. Happy reading!
See you next Sunday!
