A Celebrity's Death Taught Us a Valuable Lesson About Humans
Hearing this story would help you see your own struggles in a different light
Hello my friend,
Welcome to Simpler Sundays by VyasSpeaks.
Through this newsletter, I’m trying to get back to old ways. If you are an existing subscriber, you’d be aware of how I used to write a newsletter every week. Among many other things, it helped me build a consistent writing habit.
But eventually, life got in the way. I got busy with work and whatnot. Or I suppose, I just got lazy.
The weekly newsletter turned into a bi-monthly newsletter and then stopped altogether. The last edition of Simpler Sundays came out in June 2021.
So, this is me just trying to get back to old ways. Moreover, I was missing having a direct communication link with my readers.
That said, I’ve changed a few things in Simpler Sundays, especially in terms of the format -
It’ll be much shorter than it used to be. No more large chunks of text or links to external articles.
It’ll be much more visual than it used to be. I’m trying to adopt a similar approach as my Instagram.
It’ll return to being a weekly newsletter instead of a bi-monthly newsletter.
And I’ve also switched the email client. So instead of MailChimp, you’ll be receiving these emails from Substack.
Despite all changes, the goal of the newsletter remains the same - I want to use this newsletter as an opportunity to share with you a dose of relaxed reading at the end of each week.
There’s always so much going on in our lives - relationship problems, job issues, life hardships, family problems, and whatnot. If my words can offer even a bit of hope to someone then that would be sufficient.
On that note, let’s get to this week’s post. This featured post tells us the story of a celebrity who inspired us not just with his life but also with his death.
I hope you enjoy this one. Happy Reading!
See you next Sunday!
With love,
Shikhil Vyas
